Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team at Neiman Marcus. As a Loss Prevention Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting our company assets, including people, property, and information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations into employee dishonesty, credit fraud, workplace violence, accidents, and other incidents.
  • Provide protection of company assets by conducting regular patrols of the facility, identifying potential security breaches, and enforcing Loss Prevention Policy & Procedures.
  • Interact with law enforcement agencies and emergency service personnel as needed to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Identify and authorize personnel entering the facility, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining sign-in logs.
  • Perform interior and exterior patrols to prevent and detect security breaches, safety hazards, and ensure the security of doors, gates, trailers, etc.
Requirements
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with associates, visitors, and vendors.
  • Excellent written communication skills and proficiency with standard office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills, with the ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Ability to operate safety and security equipment, including handheld radios, fire extinguishers, fire protection systems, video surveillance systems, burglar alarm systems, electronic access control systems, flashlights, and physical restraint devices.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including days, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in loss prevention, asset protection, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
