Your Responsibilities:
We are excited to announce an opportunity for the role of Director of Asset Protection at Milwaukee Tool.
As the Director of Asset Protection, you will oversee and manage all facets of security risk management and compliance within our operational framework.
Your Impact will be felt through the following duties:
- Formulate and execute comprehensive asset protection strategies, programs, and policies across our operations to reduce risk, ensure adherence to company standards, and mitigate potential threats.
- Advise business leaders on matters related to asset protection, compliance, and security within the operational framework.
- Lead a team to consistently implement the company's asset protection practices, systems, and personnel-related activities through regular audits.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures by staying informed on relevant laws and regulations.
- Achieve network-level shrink reduction objectives by prioritizing and driving strategies, initiatives, and training (such as theft prevention, security measures, criminal deterrence, and investigations).
- Prepare partner facilities for crises by building and maintaining trusting, collaborative relationships with governmental and non-governmental agencies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor: Develop strong relationships as an Asset Protection leader, addressing challenges and implementing strategies that enhance overall security and compliance.
- Monitor asset protection business performance: Conduct in-depth analyses on issues affecting performance metrics and implement corrective measures.
- Create impactful presentations: Develop and deliver clear, cohesive communication regarding security and compliance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with operational partners to deliver top-tier Asset Protection solutions.
- Work Independently: You will manage the above responsibilities with minimal oversight.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
The Qualifications you will bring:
- A Bachelor's degree in law enforcement, business, supply chain, or a related field is preferred, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in law enforcement, asset protection, global security, auditing, program management, or a related area.
- Alternatively, 10 or more years of experience in law enforcement, asset protection, environmental health and safety, program management, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading Asset Protection/Environmental, Health & Safety programs in logistics or manufacturing environments.
- 10 or more years in a Law Enforcement or Asset Protection-related role.
- Expertise in Process Improvement Methods, Hazard Risk Assessments, and Regulatory Compliance.
Working Environment:
- Operational settings such as distribution centers, manufacturing sites, and office environments.
- Travel may be required to fulfill role responsibilities, potentially up to 50% - 75% of the time.
