- Incident Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed incident reports to document security incidents.
- Procedures and Protocols: Follow established procedures and protocols for emergency situations, including evacuation procedures and first aid.
- Access Control: Monitor and authorize entrance of persons into a property, ensuring that only authorized individuals have access.
- Property Security: Secure all exits, doors, and windows after end of operations to prevent unauthorized access.
- Surveillance and Monitoring: Monitor surveillance cameras for disruptions or unlawful acts, and respond accordingly.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Education: Must have a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Security Licenses and Certifications: Must have valid security guard licenses and/or certifications based on state and local requirements in the area where the position is located.
- Knowledge of Security Guidelines: Must have knowledge of legal guidelines for security and public safety in the area where the position is located.
