Job Overview
As a Culinary Event Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing all culinary elements of banquet and catering services in collaboration with the executive chef.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee daily culinary operations for banquet services, providing guidance to team members.
- Design and execute menu options for unique banquet themes and events.
- Ensure all food items are prepared consistently according to established recipes and standards.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations.
- Contribute to enhancing overall departmental profitability.
- Monitor and evaluate quality levels in production, presentation, guest satisfaction, and operational costs.
- Assist in developing and assessing team member performance, including supervision, coaching, evaluations, training, and scheduling.
- Engage in the formulation of the kitchen's business strategies.
- Oversee daily setup for menus, anticipating business volume and adjusting work areas and schedules as necessary.
- Manage time effectively to ensure operational efficiency.
- Foster positive employee relations and interdepartmental collaboration.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
