Cardiac Care Nurse

About the Role:
We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Intermediate Critical Care Unit at UMC Health System. As a key member of our team, you'll provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients requiring a higher level of care than can be provided on medical floors.
Responsibilities:
• Assess, implement, or delegate, plan, and evaluate total nursing care and functions in accordance with established philosophy.
• Provide and direct patient care for a group of patients, relating effectively with other shifts/departments for optimal continuity of care.
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Valid Texas RN License/Eligible Compact License.
• Must maintain a current BLS & ACLS certification from American Heart Association.
• BSN required or must be obtained within 3 years of hire.
• PCCN Certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience.
