We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Internal Investigator 2 to join our team at the NYS Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into allegations of misconduct and abuse within our organization.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to gather evidence and build cases.
- Develop and implement effective investigation strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert testimony in court proceedings and present findings to management and other stakeholders.
- Twelve (12) years of law enforcement investigative experience.
- Current NYS basic course for police officer certification and New York State residency at the time of appointment.
- Possession of a valid NYS Driver's License.
