Software Engineer III Network Infrastructure

As a Software Engineer III, Network Infrastructure, you'll play a critical role in developing the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another.
Responsibilities- Write product or system development code.
- Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide among available technologies.
- Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
- Collaborate with the Linux community, build and maintain our virtual network driver.
- Support Google Cloud customers to enable their networking needs by enabling new networking features and framework.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- Experience in Kernel Drivers, Linux Drivers and Networking.
- Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience in developing accessible technologies.
- Experience in Linux Kernel, Linux Internals, Open Source Contribution and Networking Protocols.
