Key Responsibilities- Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia in patients, utilizing anesthesia/monitoring equipment.
- Triage emergency cases, obtaining vital signs such as temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, and blood pressure.
- Perform digital radiography, ensuring proper technique and patient positioning.
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, alerting veterinarians to changes and issues.
- Initiate CPR in patients at risk of arrest.
- Administer medications via appropriate routes and duration, calculating medical math accurately.
- Perform phlebotomy and place intravenous catheters in peripheral vessels.
- Place and maintain feeding tubes and central line catheters.
- Mentor and train colleagues, demonstrating a passion for education and growth.
- Provide exceptional patient care, addressing client concerns with empathy and patience.
