Key Responsibilities
  • Process invoices in a timely manner and expedite resolutions involving any relative issues
  • Working knowledge of in-state and out-of-state sales tax codes
  • Record information electronically
  • Assist with general ledger customer deposits
  • Assist with monthly closing reports
  • Perform other administrative assigned duties as needed
  • Answering phones and receptionist duties
  • Timecard data entry
  • Comply with OSHA and Company safety policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in accounting or a related field, or the equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in accounting, with an emphasis on receivables or bookkeeping
  • Working knowledge of accounting software, preferably MAS90
  • Knowledge of procedures and ledger balancing
  • Knowledge and experience working with tax codes
  • Thorough knowledge of credits and debits
  • Strong PC skills and proficient with Excel
  • Ability to multitask and complete multiple projects both timely and accurately
  • Comfortable working in a paper and digital environment
  • Familiarity working in family-owned environments is helpful but not required
  • Dependability and consistently showing up for all scheduled shifts
  • Ability to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday
  • Ability to commute and work on site at our company in west Phoenix
Work Environment

This is a full-time, non-exempt position, with hours from 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. Pay range is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, DOE. Some OT may be available but is not guaranteed.
