  • Directs the execution of the Chapter's strategic initiatives, collaborating closely with staff to monitor progress and achieve designated objectives.

  • Evaluates and implements policy changes to enhance the Chapter's financial health and service offerings.
  • Fosters strong relationships with Chapter Officers and various committees to promote effective governance.
Operational Management
  • Partners with the Treasurer to formulate annual budgets that support the Chapter’s mission while ensuring fiscal responsibility.
  • Oversees the human resources function, including recruitment, training, performance management, and compliance with labor laws.
  • Promotes a culture of exceptional member service by equipping staff with the necessary tools and training.
Member Engagement
  • Drives membership growth and retention by delivering value-added services and fostering member relationships.
  • Coordinates educational events and activities that enhance member knowledge and skills.
  • Conducts membership surveys to gather insights and improve service delivery.
External Relations
  • Engages with industry associations, government agencies, and legislative bodies to advocate for the Chapter and its members.
  • Stays informed about the construction industry landscape to effectively represent the Chapter’s interests.
  • May participate in advocacy efforts and fundraising initiatives to support the Chapter’s mission.
Administrative Oversight
  • Ensures compliance with Chapter by-laws and applicable regulations while managing staff performance and development.
  • Prepares financial reports and oversees budget management, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Maintains comprehensive policy manuals and monitors committee activities to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, nonprofit management, or a related field, with 7-10 years of experience in association management.
  • Leadership: Proven track record in leading teams and managing complex operations within a nonprofit or business context.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders.
