Job Summary

The Night Auditor is a critical role within our hotel operations, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact for guests and associates during the overnight shift, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for all.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Prepare and balance daily financial reports, including revenue, expenses, and cash handling.
  • Guest Services: Respond to guest inquiries, resolve issues, and provide assistance as needed.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk, including checking guests in and out, handling room assignments, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Security and Safety: Conduct security walks, ensure the hotel is secure, and respond to emergency situations.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with associates, management, and guests, ensuring a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues, including guest complaints, technical problems, and operational challenges.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training programs, share knowledge with colleagues, and contribute to the growth and development of the team.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
  • Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in Windows operating systems and company-approved software.
