Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

Aurora is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in San Diego, CA.

Job Summary:

The Senior Systems Engineer will provide technical expertise in developing enterprise architecture to support Modeling and Simulation (M&S) efforts. The candidate will monitor, maintain, enhance, and manage all system operations and system administration, integration, and data transfer for M&S tools, architecture tools, and data repositories.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional knowledge and technical support of developing enterprise architecture to support M&S.
  • Monitor, maintain, enhance, and manage all system operations and system administration, integration, and data transfer for M&S tools, architecture tools, and data repositories.
  • Research and analysis of missions, tactics, equipment, interfaces, and resource allocations to new and developing systems and programs.
  • Locate and research all relevant valid data to build the model, including both systems data and operational data.
  • Ensure missions are traceable to Required Operational Capabilities and based on Integration and Interoperability baselines.
  • Provide systems engineering support in analyzing and/or projecting performance of future systems.
  • Conduct tests, evaluate results, and develop reports (quick-look, final test, and lessons learned) and present findings and conclusions for laboratory testing of systems, software, tools, and products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field, such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems.
  • 6 years of experience in Government related Research & Development (R&D), Test & Evaluation (T&E), and systems acquisition programs.
  • 4 years of relevant Systems Integration engineering experience.
  • Security+ Certification or equivalent.
  • Secret Clearance.

Preferred Skills:

  • Master's Degree in a quantitative field, such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems.
  • 10 years of experience in Government related R&D, T&E, and systems acquisition programs.
  • 6 years of relevant Systems Integration engineering experience.
  • Top Secret Clearance.
