We are in search of an exceptional Senior Manager of Facilities Operations who possesses a strong commitment to operational excellence. In this role, you will oversee a team of facilities professionals, ensuring the effective management of daily operational tasks, services, and maintenance at designated locations. Your leadership will guarantee that our assets are maintained efficiently while fostering a safe, clean, and comfortable workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee facilities operations programs and processes, including large event room scheduling and office build-outs.
  • Provide leadership and technical expertise to teams, including Technicians and Engineers, to support building operations and lab infrastructure.
  • Create and manage project schedules, implementation plans, and cost estimates, ensuring timely execution.
  • Review MEP-related work and offer technical guidance to both internal staff and external contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations governing facility operations.
  • Address and resolve building system issues, implementing improvements and corrective actions as necessary.
  • Lead a team through all project phases, from planning to maintenance.
  • Be available for 24/7 emergency response regarding building systems and infrastructure.
  • Manage the development and performance of your team, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Innovate and implement programs aimed at reducing operational costs while enhancing productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, industrial engineering, or management is preferred.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in corporate office design, construction, or project management.
  • Proven ability to build and adapt operations programs to meet growth and change.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation, both internally and externally.
  • Thorough understanding of business and accounting practices.
  • Familiarity with various design and construction delivery methods.
  • Knowledge of relevant products and vendors in the facilities management sector.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and strategic thinking capabilities.
