This is an exciting opportunity to join Olsson as an HFC Engineer, where you will play a key role in designing and optimizing Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial (HFC) networks to deliver high-speed broadband services.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, ability to multi-task, and work well on a team. A bachelor's degree in engineering/design or equivalent experience is required, along with 3-6 years of Coax/HFC design experience.

Responsibilities

">

As an HFC Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing network architectures to meet performance and reliability standards.
  • Analyzing large datasets to determine serving boundaries, feeder routes, and distribution routes.
  • Reviewing field staking sheets, as-Builts, and field-collected data to determine the optimal running line and construction method.
  • Producing and reviewing high-quality constructible plan sets using GIS-based software.
