Job Title: Network Architecture Specialist

Vero Networks is seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team.

About the Role:

  • We are looking for a professional with industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator.
  • A solid background in network administration and architecture is required, including an in-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF).
  • Familiarity with access control models and network security is essential.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., Librenms network tools) and a solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS).
  • Sharp troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently are also necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing functional network infrastructure.
  • Resolving issues that tiers of support have escalated.
  • Mentoring team members and addressing user needs.
  • Configuring and installing software, servers, routers, and other network devices.
  • Monitoring network performance and integrity.
  • Automating tasks and monitoring their effectiveness.
  • Creating, overseeing, and testing security measures (e.g., access authentication and disaster recovery).
  • Communicating with users when needed.
  • Maintaining complete technical documentation.
  • Suggesting improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability.

Requirements:

  • Professional certification (e.g., CCNP, CCDP).
  • In-depth knowledge of network design principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.

What We Offer:

Vero Networks offers a competitive salary of $95,000 per year, based on experience.

Our location is remote, allowing you to work from home in the Gypsum, Woodland Park, Leadville, Denver, or Greeley area.
