Fleet Technology Specialist Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Technology Specialist to join our team at Ozinga Bros., Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our fleet's mobile devices, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide hardware and software troubleshooting for all mobile devices, including Digital Fleet+, and coordinate procurement of mobile devices to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Device Setup and Support: Assist drivers and technicians with setup and support of fleet-related devices, and provide training on installation and troubleshooting of systems.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate inventory of all mobile devices, create reports on fleet-related devices and services, and document work within Autotask to build a knowledge base.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Communicate with company stakeholders on major issues or outages, maintain excellent customer rapport, and deliver solutions to meet user satisfaction.
  • Time Management: Prepare timely monthly status reports, utilize time efficiently, and maintain costs by reducing overtime whenever possible.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Expert knowledge of Samsung, Apple, Android, and iOS technologies, with experience supporting GPS devices, mobile solutions, and mobile device management solutions.
  • Skills: Proficiencies with the Microsoft suite of products, hardware troubleshooting, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions: The Fleet Technology Specialist will operate in both a professional office environment and an outdoor environment, occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, dust, dirt, and outside weather conditions.

Physical Requirements: Regularly required to talk or hear, frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
