Position Overview:
As a Heavy Equipment Loader Specialist, you will be tasked with ensuring optimal production, maintenance, quality, and safety standards within the Aggregates Operations. The primary responsibility of this role is to proficiently operate the yard loader, facilitating the loading of customer transport vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:


Safely operate and maintain heavy machinery, including front-end loaders, to ensure the plant remains clean and productive. Responsible for the fueling, lubrication, and maintenance of equipment while adhering to the equipment's safety guidelines.
Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections and maintenance on machinery. Engage in general training, job-specific training, and hazardous materials training as required; successfully complete all necessary written assessments.

Comprehend and adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety regulations relevant to the facility, job function, and equipment, including safety protocols around machinery.

Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of facilities and equipment.
Propose modifications to operations that may enhance safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Follow yard regulations, safety protocols, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. Comply with site processes and procedures concerning product transfers, quality assurance, safety, and operations.

Complete all required training and certifications essential for performing duties safely and effectively. Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:

Must demonstrate consistent attendance and a high level of performance. Follow both written and verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks within designated timelines.

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, along with a basic understanding of mathematics.
Familiarity with US Aggregates Safety and Operating principles. Complete all necessary documentation, recordkeeping, and daily inventory.
Participate in safety briefings, job briefings, and any other information sharing from team members, management, or clients.

Must work collaboratively with a team, take direction, and adhere to work regulations, while also being open to additional job responsibilities as needed.

Flexibility is required; ability to work various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
Perform all tasks in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently to achieve objectives.

Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Demands:
Must possess the ability to stand or walk continuously on both level and uneven surfaces.
Must be capable of ascending and descending ladders, stairways, and inclined walkways.
Must be able to bend, crouch, and/or kneel as necessary.
Must have the capacity to lift, push, pull, shovel, or carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work outdoors for the majority of the time and endure extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, or wind.
