Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough visual and dimensional inspections of automotive parts and components to identify any defects or irregularities.
  • Verify that all inspected parts meet or exceed established quality standards, specifications, and tolerances.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records, including documentation of all findings, discrepancies, and inspection results.
  • Document all inspection results using digital tools and software for reporting and data analysis.
  • Report any non-conforming parts to the Quality Control Supervisor and provide recommendations for corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree in a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in automotive parts inspection or quality control highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of inspection tools and equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and visual inspection aids.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting required.
  • Lifting up to 35 pounds may be required.
