Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Functional Safety Engineer to lead our safety systems engineering and applications consulting efforts. The successful candidate will have a strong background in safety lifecycle management, including PHA/LOPA, hazard identification, safeguard allocation, and SIL calculations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety lifecycle management strategies for complex safety systems.
- Lead efforts in commissioning, cutovers, loop checks, logic validation, and start-up assistance.
- Ensure compliance with Mangan's safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular client contact and address client concerns and input.
- Develop and maintain effective QA/QC processes.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in safety systems engineering and applications consulting.
- High degree of technical knowledge and competency in safety systems engineering and specifications development.
- Ability to work to a high standard of professionalism within a team environment.
