At Boise Cascade, we're committed to building strong relationships with our customers and delivering exceptional results. As a National Account Sales Specialist, you'll play a critical role in driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the national accounts market.

Located in Central Texas, this exciting opportunity requires extensive overnight travel and allows you to work closely with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to develop and execute sales strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Market and sell national accounts, pro-oriented retailers, and large DIY retail operations, as well as industrial or combined accounts.
  • Provide a wide range of communication, promotional, and merchandising materials, and manage customer relationships between national store contacts, customers, vendors, and Boise.
  • Develop promotion opportunities, attend and participate in customer promotional events, and resolve customer issues, respond to complaints, and provide claims service.
  • Provide training and demonstrations to customers, customer associates, and contractors, and maintain knowledge of competitor products.
  • Explore special order opportunities, perform systems pricing maintenance, and EDI coordination, and monitor inventory and review SKU mix by store/customer to identify sales and service opportunities.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
  • College degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • One to five years of building products experience and broad knowledge of building product lines.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Benefits
  • Estimated salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
