Position Summary

Overview:

The Executive Director is tasked with enhancing the SRI experience by focusing on exceptional dining, engaging activities, and compassionate care through the execution of various responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Upholding and advocating for SRI's core principle of treating others with respect and kindness.
  • Overseeing the organization, planning, and daily functions of the independent living, assisted living, and memory care community.
  • Leading and managing the team to ensure the needs and care of residents are met effectively.
  • Exhibiting excellence in customer service and maintaining a positive, service-oriented approach.
  • Making informed and timely decisions while effectively prioritizing tasks.
  • Evaluating processes for efficiency and suggesting improvements where necessary.
  • Inspiring and motivating all team members.
  • Managing the community budget to consistently meet or exceed financial expectations.
  • Ensuring staff schedules align with budgeted full-time equivalents (FTEs) for optimal efficiency.
  • Coordinating human resources operations, including performance management, recruitment, training, and compliance with regulations.
  • Providing respectful coaching and feedback to team members.
  • Conducting performance evaluations in accordance with established policies.
  • Monitoring weekly expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  • Scheduling staff effectively based on budgeted FTEs.
  • Maintaining compliance with community policies and procedures.
  • Addressing concerns raised by residents, families, or team members promptly.
  • Overseeing resident services to ensure timely completion of required documentation and compliance with regulations.
  • Acting as essential personnel during emergencies and adverse weather conditions.
  • Being available for off-shift hours as needed to address staffing issues.
  • Providing direct care to residents as necessary.
  • Ensuring a safe working environment for all individuals.
  • Adhering to HIPAA regulations and emergency protocols.
  • Practicing safe working habits and maintaining professional appearance.
  • Taking initiative in responsibilities and seeking solutions proactively.
  • Completing additional duties as assigned.
  • Willingly engaging in special projects outside of regular responsibilities.

Supervisory Duties:

Direct supervision across all departments, executing responsibilities in line with organizational policies and legal requirements.

These responsibilities encompass hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and addressing employee concerns.


Physical Requirements:


The physical demands necessary for this role include regular standing, walking, and using hands, as well as occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.


Work Environment:


Employees may encounter exposure to bloodborne pathogens while performing essential functions.


Qualifications

Requirements:

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and respond to inquiries from various stakeholders.

Mathematical Skills:

Proficiency in applying advanced mathematical concepts and performing statistical analyses.
Reasoning Skills:

Ability to apply logical principles to a range of problems and interpret complex data.

Computer Proficiency:


Familiarity with Office 365, Microsoft Excel, and human resource management systems is essential.


Education and Experience:


A high school diploma or GED, with two to four years of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Certifications:

Completion of AHCA Core Training or possession of a State Specific Nursing Home Administrator License is required.
