Detailed Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Financial Analyst to join our Treasury Valuation and Analysis team at the International Finance Corporation. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing middle office support, maintaining and managing relevant data in Treasury systems, and contributing to the calculation and reporting of performance metrics.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. A master's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience is required, along with proficiency in Python and knowledge of fixed income mathematics and financial derivatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and implement automated internal portfolio benchmark capture
  • Perform daily market data downloads, validation, and troubleshooting
  • Support the calculation and reporting of performance metrics
  • Reconcile MTM between IFC and counterparties
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting to clients
  • Work on process automation and keep abreast of industry-standard processes and technologies

Selection Criteria:

  • Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Finance, Business, Engineering, or another quantitative subject area) with at least 2 years of relevant market experience or an undergraduate degree in a quantitative field with at least 4 years of relevant work experience in finance and investments
  • Knowledge of fixed income mathematics, financial derivatives, and information technology
  • Strong analytical skills and high degree of motivation to improve productivity and efficiency using computer systems
  • Careful attention to details and reliability of output
  • Ability to work under pressure and self-motivation
  • Excellent communication skills to explain the logic behind analysis

Compensation Package:
