Overview

Addison Group is a reputable financial services company seeking a skilled Financial Analyst - Payroll Specialist to join their team. This role will focus on payroll administration, reconciliation, and accounting for federal and donated employees.

Estimated Salary Range

$90,000 - $100,000 per year, based on experience and location in Washington D.C.

About the Role

This is a contract-to-hire position with potential for permanent employment after 6-12 months. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for administering payroll for federal and donated employees, maintaining time-reporting systems, and ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Administration: Administer payroll for federal and donated employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Payroll Reconciliation: Reconcile and analyze payroll-related accounts, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accruals.
  • Time-Reporting Maintenance: Maintain time-reporting systems for federal (Kronos) and donated (UltiPro) employees.
  • Payroll Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve payroll and payroll-related issues, responding to inquiries and requests from employees, supervisors, HR, and payroll service providers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Payroll Reconciliation Experience: Proven experience in reconciling and analyzing payroll-related accounts.
  • Automated Payroll Systems: Strong user skills in automated payroll systems, such as Kronos and UltiPro.
  • Payroll Expertise: Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing experience, with thorough knowledge of payroll, automated payroll systems, and relevant regulations.
