Location: Washington D.C

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review and process grant agreements to ensure compliance with grant accounting policies and U.S. government regulations;
  • Prepare funder reports and financial reports to meet funding terms and the diverse needs of individual programs;
  • Collaborate with programs to ensure preparation of proposal and program budget;
  • Create and fix clients budget-reporting templates for international funded sub-awards;
  • Journal Entry Change Requests, Cost Allocation, Make/Confirm Adjustments;
  • Grants-International or Domestic Highly Preferred Receive Private & Individual Donations;
  • Proposal budgets to donors;
  • Provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting & analysis against historical, budgeted, and forecasted data to identify and manage any financial issues;
  • Take part in monthly review of financial performance with programs, helping with both meeting preparation and subsequent follow-ups;
  • Forecast is important to organizational planning: Direct Grant Spend also includes indirect funds which impacts the organization spending/revenue/finances;
