Position Overview:
The Patient Care Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing patient interactions, including appointment scheduling, billing inquiries, and maintaining medical records within a clinical setting.


Work Schedule:
Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST. This position offers a hybrid work model.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and track daily requests for referrals and authorizations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate documentation for the referral process.
  • Assist physicians in coordinating patient care.
  • Engage with health plans to meet prior approval requirements.
  • Compile and present clinical information to specialists as per referral guidelines.
  • Act as a liaison for patients with inquiries regarding referrals and authorizations.
  • Work in partnership with Centralized Services to address patient needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with service providers to facilitate patient care coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and standards while delivering high-quality patient service.
  • Participate in departmental initiatives and uphold all regulatory standards.

Qualifications:
Required: High School Diploma or GED, with at least one year of experience in Microsoft Office.

Preferred: Experience in a medical front desk role, customer service, electronic medical records, and health plan insurance.
