Clinical Nurse Coordinator Behavioral Health Specialist

We are seeking an experienced RN Clinical Coordinator to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with staff to identify educational and equipment needs, providing coaching and guidance to enhance performance and develop leadership potential.
- Assist in clinical coaching and ensure that orientation for employees is completed in accordance with policy.
- Participate in providing patient care by taking a patient assignment as needed during emergent situations.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure all nurse-sensitive quality metrics are maintained above the national benchmark through process improvement, reduction in practice variation, and evidence-based practice.
- Two years of Registered Nurse experience.
- Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program.
- BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing (preferred).
- Current licensure as an RN in the state of Virginia or current multi-state compact RN license with eligibility to practice in VA is required.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider (required).
