Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the general ledger, ensuring all financial reporting is accurate and in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Perform thorough reviews of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial documents.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.
  • Prepare financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts, and present them to senior stakeholders.
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Manage and forecast cash flow to ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Prepare and file sales and use tax returns in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate year-end audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
  • Assist with strategic planning and decision-making at the management level by providing pertinent financial data.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is strongly preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial auditing, accounting, financial reporting, financial management, financial accounting, and management accounting.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and create financial models for decision support.
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial colleagues.
  • Proficiency in using advanced financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and tasks efficiently.
