Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team at Jobot. This is a permanent HYBRID role that offers the flexibility of both remote and on-site work. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in overseeing our company's financial processes in the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the general ledger, ensuring all financial reporting is accurate and in compliance with regulatory standards.
2. Perform thorough reviews of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial documents.
3. Conduct regular reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.
4. Prepare financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts, and present them to senior stakeholders.
5. Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
6. Manage and forecast cash flow to ensure operational effectiveness.
7. Prepare and file sales and use tax returns in a timely manner.
8. Coordinate year-end audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
9. Assist with strategic planning and decision-making at the management level by providing pertinent financial data.
10. Ensure compliance with all internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA is REQUIRED.
2. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
4. Proficiency in financial auditing, accounting, financial reporting, financial management, financial accounting, and management accounting.
5. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and create financial models for decision support.
6. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial colleagues.
8. Proficiency in using advanced financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and tasks efficiently.
