Science Educator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Science Educator to join our team at Lycée Français de la Nouvelle-Orléans. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality science instruction to students in grades 9-12, as well as supporting school-wide instructional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide science instruction to students in grades 9-12
- Support school-wide instructional initiatives
- Implement the French Ministry of Education Science curriculum
- Design and deliver high-quality, engaging instruction
- Evaluate student performance
- Improve skills and knowledge in teaching
- Maintain an accurate and current gradebook
- Conduct school-wide benchmark and state assessments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Experience in instruction in an elementary, middle, or secondary school setting
- Flexibility and a team-spirit work ethic
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a diverse environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Louisiana Certification
- Three or more years teaching experience
- Fluency in French
