Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Office Manager/Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Excel and have experience in real estate management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile bank accounts on a weekly basis
  • Post information to accounting software (Quickbooks and Buildium)
  • Correspond with customers, vendors, and tenants regarding accounts receivable and accounts payable balances
  • Verify, review, and pay vendor invoices (payments via check, credit card, etc.)
  • Maintain a filing system by scanning and storing relevant documents in proper folders
  • Perform property management functions such as taking tenant phone calls, reviewing work orders, contacting vendors for estimates, etc.
  • Conduct property management inspections as necessary for commercial and residential properties in Oceanside, NY
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Assist with office management responsibilities, including drafting and preparing letters and emails
  • Review tenant applications and prepare lease agreements (form documents) as required

Work Schedule

This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling to accommodate candidates with family or child-care obligations. We will work with candidates to create a schedule that works, once a schedule is created, it will be consistent thereafter.

Minimum: 20 Hours/week

Maximum: 35 hours/week

Pay $23-32 / Hour based on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
