Electrophysiology Physician Assistant

Piedmont Heart Institute, a renowned cardiology program, is seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Physician Assistant to join their team at Piedmont Eastside Hospital.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, Piedmont offers a range of benefits, including a generous CME allowance, competitive compensation, 401k with match, yearly bonus structure, quality, service, and reputation.
Job DescriptionThis full-time position involves working variable shifts, including days, holidays, night call coverage, and weekends. The ideal candidate will assist in the evaluation and treatment of electrophysiology patients in an inpatient setting and in independent outpatient clinics.
- Assist in the evaluation and treatment of electrophysiology patients
- Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record data
- Write progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries
- Prepare patient workups
- Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Work alongside physicians and other advanced practice providers in a collaborative team
The minimum qualifications for this position include a Master's or bachelor's degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification. A minimum of 1-2 years of electrophysiology experience is preferred, along with general cardiology experience and familiarity with pacemakers and defibrillators.
