Electrophysiology Advanced Practice Provider for Cardiology Services

Piedmont Heart Institute, a leading cardiology program, is seeking an Electrophysiology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its team at Piedmont Eastside Hospital. As an advanced practice provider in electrophysiology, you will work alongside highly trained physicians and be part of a collaborative team.
Job DescriptionYou will assist in the evaluation and treatment of electrophysiology patients in both inpatient settings and independent outpatient clinics. This will involve taking patient histories, conducting physical examinations, and recording data in patient records. You will also write progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries. Additionally, you will prepare patient workups, order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and work with other healthcare professionals to deliver direct patient care services.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat electrophysiology patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Take patient histories and conduct physical examinations
- Record patient data and write progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries
- Prepare patient workups and order/deliver diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
To be considered for this role, you must have a Master's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited PA program and National Board Certification or be licensed as a nurse practitioner approved to practice in the State of Georgia with National Certification. Experience in electrophysiology is preferred, but not required. Familiarity with pacemakers and defibrillators is a plus.
