Job Summary

We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our team at Park Place Dealerships. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring an extraordinary client experience while creating client advocates. You will assist in creating strategies and awareness to exceed manufacturer performance measures, help to proactively analyze and effectively manage inventory, and remain compliant with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in creating strategies and awareness to exceed manufacturer performance measures
  • Help to proactively analyze and effectively manage inventory
  • Remain compliant with state and federal regulations
  • Help to lead other department members with efforts to remain as compliant as possible
  • Reinforce strategies and efforts for increasing market share, gross profit, client satisfaction, member retention, F&I profit, and any additional corporate goals
  • Oversee the execution of the Sales Process, both floor and internet sales teams
  • Help to fully prepare for each client appointment and assist the Sales Experience Managers with delivering the ideal client experience
  • Help sales professionals execute individual business plans and communicate with Business Manager(s) on these plans
  • Provide ongoing feedback to Product Concierges/Technology Specialists on how to grow and contribute to the ideal client experience
  • Contract or collect all money at closing
  • Maintain a working knowledge of purchases, leases, and F&I products
  • Understand all current new car and pre-owned manufacture and captive lender programs and rates
  • Assist the Sales Consultant with verification of insurance and completion of paperwork
  • Review, update, and manage inventory reports daily (Pace)
  • Prepare and review monthly operational plan with Sales Director and General Manager
  • Assist Human Resources in the hiring process
  • Create and execute strategy for increasing market share
  • Meet and greet client appointments set by Call Center
  • Maintain professional relationships with manufacturers
  • Report vehicles sold to manufacturer
  • Utilize Client Relationship Management (CRM) and Auto Alert systems daily to coach Sales Consultants to achieve monthly goals through effective client retention and prospecting strategies
  • Know and understand the Client Concern Resolution (CCR) process, and use the program to achieve client satisfaction
  • Know and understand the Park Place Privacy and Information Security Policies, and adhere to the requirements
  • Hold weekly department meetings
  • Grow and develop direct reports
  • Attend weekly Manager meetings
