In 2024, we're seeking a high-energy, entrepreneurial, competitive, strategic thinking individual for our Account Executive position, joining our UCX Northeast division.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will manage a portfolio of business-to-business (B2B) accounts, developing business relationships with retailers, builders, and property management companies within our designated sales territory in Northeast MA and Southeast ME. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing existing customer accounts, including the sale of floor covering products, merchandising systems, and product knowledge trainings.
- Developing new accounts and lines of business to achieve sales targets and territory budgets.
- Managing critical customer relationships with business owners and key decision makers.
- Communicating pricing strategies and product lines to clients.
- Coordinating cross-departmental collaborations with Sales, Customer Service, and Distribution teams.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience or B2B sales experience, with documented sales success and recognition for achieving sales targets.
- Preferred experience in the flooring industry, construction & building supplies, or home furnishings distribution.
- A BA/BS degree, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- Superior customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel to customer locations within designated sales territory.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
