About the Job

The Territory Manager II is a key role in our sales team, responsible for driving revenue growth in assigned territories across North America. This position demands a deep understanding of molecular biology, an entrepreneurial spirit, and proven success in selling to life science markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the sales of our products within the assigned territory, including maintaining existing customers, developing new opportunities, and building relationships.
  • Maintain advanced product and market knowledge, able to explain technical details in simple terms and communicate the benefits of our products to customers and internal partners.
  • Utilize selling skills to identify, advance, and close opportunities, analyzing sales data and understanding the life science marketplace.
  • Create strategic territory plans and develop tactical action plans to enhance customer relationships and drive sales success.
  • Collaborate with Product Management by providing feedback on product performance, messaging effectiveness, and competitor activity.
  • Provide timely communication and follow-up with customers, consistently exceeding expectations.

Requirements:

  • BS, MS, PhD in Cell or Molecular Biology, or a related life science discipline.
  • 2-5 years of successful sales experience within a life science research tools company.
  • 2-4 years of lab bench experience in Cell or Molecular Biology, or a related field.
  • Must maintain a satisfactory driving record, valid driving license, and automobile insurance.
  • Proven communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite and CRM tools.

Salary: The US base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000 - $125,000 USD, plus additional bonus compensation and benefits.
