Territory Account Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing existing accounts and generating new business opportunities within your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targeted growth and revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify new business opportunities.
  • Promote new products and services to the marketplace and train distributors on product offerings.
  • Manage product margin targets and ensure effective inventory management.
  • Collaborate with distributors to provide exceptional customer service and support.
  • Conduct product knowledge meetings, product safety seminars, and product demonstrations to end-users.
  • Organize and attend trade shows to promote our products and services.
  • Utilize sales tools and analytics to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Support regional and national accounts and provide product sales forecasts by category.
  • Assist customers and prospective new distributors with new programs, catalogues, and flyers.
  • Understand and leverage buying group programs to drive sales growth.
  • Identify key accounts and opportunities within the territory and work collaboratively with manufacturer reps.
  • Deliver high-quality presentations and maintain accurate CRM records.
  • Manage administrative functions, including weekly reports and business expense reporting.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of sales experience in the welding, safety, construction, industrial, or STAFDA industries.
  • Proven track record of building relationships and generating new business opportunities.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • High initiative and follow-through with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and exceptional drive for results.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
