Position Overview

As a Project Director, you will be stationed at the construction project site, serving as the primary point of contact for the owner, design team, and project personnel. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the quality and timely execution of design-build projects, ranging from $60 million to over $250 million. The Project Director will collaborate with marketing, pre-construction services, business unit leaders, and will mentor Project Managers and Engineers, holding overall responsibility for project success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with Architects, Engineers, and Planners to establish and manage design schedules.
  • Set project forecasts and budgets.
  • Oversee cost management.
  • Assume full accountability for project execution.
  • Guide and nurture project management staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in managing large-scale construction projects ($100+ million), preferably in design-build.
  • Proven expertise in construction principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Prior experience leading a successful project management team.
  • Physical capability to navigate job sites, including climbing ladders and scaling multi-floor scaffolding.
  • Able to lift objects weighing at least 50 lbs.
