Your Role

As a Project Director, you will operate on-site at construction projects, serving as the primary liaison for the owner, design team, and project personnel. Your responsibility will be to ensure the quality and timely execution of design-build projects, ranging from $60 million to over $250 million. In this capacity, you will collaborate with marketing, pre-construction services, business unit leaders, and mentor Project Managers and Engineers, overseeing the overall success of these projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with Architects, Engineers, and Planners to create and manage project design schedules.
  • Establish project forecasts and budgets to ensure financial accountability.
  • Oversee cost management and resource allocation.
  • Assume full accountability for project execution and outcomes.
  • Guide and develop project management personnel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in managing large-scale construction projects ($100+ million), preferably in design-build.
  • Proven knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Experience leading a successful project management team.
  • Physical capability to navigate job sites, including climbing ladders and scaling multi-floor scaffolding.
  • Able to lift objects weighing at least 50 lbs.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $170,000 - $200,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
