About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at First Student. As a Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our fleet of vehicles and the students we transport.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles, including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
  • Conduct inspections and diagnose issues with our vehicles to ensure they are safe for road travel.
  • Collaborate with our team to implement state-of-the-art training programs and stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments.
  • Work closely with our drivers and other technicians to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • 3 or more years of experience working with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles.
  • A valid driver's license and a willingness to obtain a CDL (we will provide training for this).
  • ASE certification or willingness to obtain it.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
