Position Overview:
The Senior Electrical Maintenance Manager is responsible for supervising all maintenance-related operations at the SCA Pharma Facility. This role demands a hands-on approach coupled with strong leadership and management capabilities in all facets of maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain a cutting-edge facility and all related pharmaceutical equipment, including cleanrooms, environmental/mechanical systems, electrical components (switch gear, distribution boards, controllers, and panels), safety systems (sprinkler and fire alarm systems), and plumbing fixtures.
- Lead the facility maintenance team to ensure timely completion of work requests, with proper documentation in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Serve as the primary contact for all facility maintenance tasks.
- Manage the CMMS for preventive maintenance schedules, work orders, and inventory oversight.
- Oversee the preventative maintenance program to ensure the proper functioning and repair of the building's exterior, interiors, and systems.
- Identify and address electrical, mechanical, and building safety concerns, ensuring compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Test and troubleshoot systems and components related to equipment, including HVAC systems and custom automated production machinery that rely on electrical operation.
- Execute general electrical repairs, modifications, and installations for both the facility and associated equipment, including up to 3 phase 480V systems.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical installation and repair.
- At least 4 years of experience in a facilities maintenance program, focusing on asset and spare parts management.
- Licensed Electrician or equivalent experience/licensing.
- Familiarity with eMaint or similar CMMS and digital spare part inventory management.
- Experience with automated equipment such as PLCs, robots, and packaging machinery.
Desired Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Capable of performing various maintenance functions across all skill levels.
- Ability to lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds occasionally, and up to 30 pounds frequently.
- Capacity to endure prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking, with the ability to ascend and descend ladders as needed.
- Competence in performing tasks that require bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing, and overhead reaching.
- Knowledge of regulations and requirements relevant to cGMP Manufacturing Plants and 503B Outsourcing facilities.
