Job Summary:

The Equipment Repair Specialist will perform repair work on a wide variety of equipment, including complete machine overhauls and minor repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical functions and be able to troubleshoot equipment problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and diagnose failures
  • Perform diagnostic functions, check pressures, and locate sources of noise or vibration
  • Disassemble machines, order parts, make repairs, and assemble machines
  • Clean parts, scrape gaskets, and prep for assembly
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness of the work environment
  • Travel to job sites and vendor training sessions as needed
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, a 2-year technical degree, or comparable military training
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the heavy equipment industry or a related field
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as basic mathematical skills
  • Proficient with computers, including Microsoft programs and diagnostic software
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, push, pull, twist, and carry up to 70lbs
  • Ability to climb and perform work on heights of 15 feet
  • Able to work in all types of weather conditions
  • Capable of working with limited supervision and maintaining excellent customer service
  • Must be able to pass a background, physical, and drug screen
