Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at Sam's Club, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting our pharmacy team. This part-time position offers a competitive hourly wage and opportunities for career growth within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides member service by acknowledging the member, identifying their needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions.

• Operates hardware such as cash registers or related equipment, processes member purchases, and assists in payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges using appropriate procedures for different membership and payment types.

• Provides pharmacy products and services to members in accordance with company policies and procedures by assisting with processing prescription and OTC orders and purchases, stocking and securing pharmacy supplies and merchandise, entering prescription information or filing prescriptions, and completing and maintaining paperwork, forms, and other required documentation.

• Receives and stocks merchandise in the pharmacy area, and organizes and maintains the pharmacy area by following company procedures, utilizing equipment appropriately, merchandising, and completing paperwork, logs, and other required documentation.

Education and Qualifications

Minimum qualifications for this position include a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred qualifications include a pharmacy technician certification or experience in a pharmacy setting. The hourly wage range for this position is $[insert range]. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
