Job Title: Technical Project Monitor

Boston Government Services, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Monitor to support the Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE).

About the Role:

The Technical Project Monitor will provide project management, performance monitoring, documentation, and progress assessment for DOE-funded projects. This role will also support the development, coordination, and management of competitive solicitations and merit reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide project management and performance monitoring for DOE-funded projects.
  • Support the development and coordination of competitive solicitations and merit reviews.
  • Engage with DOE stakeholders to ensure needs and gaps are being addressed.
  • Assist in the development of internal briefing materials for decision makers.
  • Represent the program status to senior government officials, congressional stakeholders, academia, and industry partners.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physical Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in project management.
  • Professional attitude and strong analytical skills.
  • Project Management Experience (PMP preferred).
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
  • Demonstrated independent problem-solving skills.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.
  • Successful drug screening.
  • Ability to work onsite with a hybrid work schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge or experience in renewable energy or energy efficiency technologies.
  • Ability to actively track and monitor government-funded research and development projects.
  • Experience working within DOE EERE.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter, an ability to work both independently and as part of a highly dynamic collaborative team.
  • Ability to balance multiple long and short-term projects and competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.

Location/Work Arrangement:

  • This position is Hybrid located in Washington D.C.

Benefits:

Boston Government Services, LLC offers a competitive total compensation package. Benefits include Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Paid Vacation, 401K, Long and Short-Term Disability.

Starting compensation for this role typically salary ranges between $75,000 and $110,000 annually is commensurate with experience relative to the position and may vary based on candidate geographical location.
