About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Project Coordinator. As a key member of our electrical engineering team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing electrical design projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with clients, architects, and other engineers to deliver high-quality electrical design solutions.
  • Produce detailed design drawings, specifications, and reports for electrical systems.
  • Coordinate with utility companies and obtain necessary electrical permit approvals.
  • Organize technical and financial proposals for new projects.
  • Manage workload of project engineers and technicians.
  • Take responsibility for concept and preliminary engineering solutions.
  • Prepare technical specifications and monitor financial performance of projects.
  • Keep senior staff informed of important design decisions and client objectives.
  • Mentor junior electrical engineers.
  • Ensure practices, policies, and services represent client best interests.
  • Plan, organize, and manage personal workload to meet deadlines.
  • Proactively raise concerns regarding workload and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain an overview of project workload and commitments.
  • Actively contribute to delivering profitable projects.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering design in the building services and construction industry.
  • Experience working on projects in Higher Education, Museums, Commercial, Transportation Hubs, and/or Stadiums.
  • Relevant bachelor or masters degree.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) desirable.
  • LEED AP accredited preferred.
  • Experience using Revit.
  • Familiarity with computational analysis tools.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and propose multiple solutions.
