We are in search of a Senior Project Manager to oversee significant construction initiatives from inception to completion. Your proficiency will ensure that projects are executed flawlessly, maintaining high standards throughout the process. Your ability to lead and communicate effectively will be essential in fostering strong partnerships and guiding the project team.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Drive Major Projects: Initiate and manage new project opportunities, from proposal creation and scheduling to cost analysis. Your leadership will be pivotal in business growth and future project development.
  • Enhance Project Execution: Innovate project delivery methods, including design-build and design-assist approaches, transforming traditional project execution.
  • Manage Bidding Procedures: Oversee the bidding process meticulously, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all details and proactive risk management, establishing new benchmarks for precision.
  • Expertise in Estimation: Utilize your knowledge in conceptual estimation and unit costs to formulate and oversee detailed estimates that steer project success.
  • Develop Protective Agreements: Create strong contracts that safeguard the organization while facilitating new opportunities, employing your expertise in contract negotiations to address challenges effectively.
  • Lead Project Management: Supervise all facets of project management, including estimation, procurement, budgeting, and financial oversight, addressing obstacles with strategic problem-solving.
  • Ensure Operational Efficiency: Oversee permits, inspections, and procurement activities seamlessly to maintain project timelines and schedules.
  • Foster Collaborative Relationships: Build enduring connections with project teams, clients, design professionals, and subcontractors, leading successful collaboration in Owner-Architect-Contractor interactions.
  • Optimize Resource Utilization: Implement construction technologies, sustainable practices, and lean methodologies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • On-Site Collaboration: Work closely with field management and superintendents to streamline site operations and address field challenges effectively.
  • Mentor and Develop Team Members: Guide and support project staff, focusing on their professional growth and development, while inspiring excellence through effective leadership.
  • Promote Organizational Culture: Uphold the company's values and standards with integrity, fostering a positive and ethical workplace environment.
  • Advocate for Safety: Champion the organization's safety culture, contribute to the development of safety policies, and actively engage in safety initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience & Achievements: More than 10 years of progressive experience in construction within the Advanced Technology sector, demonstrating a successful track record in managing diverse projects and client relationships.
  • Certifications: Relevant industry certifications such as OSHA 10, LEED AP, and/or DBIA are beneficial.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in scheduling, budgeting, and estimating software.
  • Leadership Abilities: Outstanding communication and team leadership skills.
  • Proven Track Record: Established success in construction and project management, particularly in delivering science and technology projects.
