Job Summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join their team in a biopharmaceutical manufacturing company in St. Louis. This is a long-term, contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for career and compensational growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that production schedules are followed and workstations are set up and torn down in a timely and organized manner.
  • Perform tasks with a high degree of care and attention to detail, following work instructions and procedures, drawings, and customer specifications.
  • Work collaboratively with others to complete manufacturing jobs on time and provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent safety and quality errors.
  • Ensure that all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) are followed to ensure quality products are produced.
  • Identify and report safety hazards, unsafe conditions, and/or unsafe acts through regular safety audits and initiatives.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or cleaning environment.
  • Previous GMP experience is preferred but not required.
  • Good computer skills and ability to learn new software.
Work Environment

Employees will work in a cleanroom environment, wearing a full gowning suit, gloves, hair and beard nets, face covers, and safety glasses.

  • Wearing Tyvek, Nitrile, and/or Latex gloves.
  • Items/accessories such as makeup, jewelry, nail polish, cologne, and perfume are not permitted.
