Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Weld Engineer to join our team at Warehouse Workers, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technical processes and systems to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and procure fixtures for the weld department to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
  • Develop and document existing processes for welding to improve efficiency and reduce defects.
  • Analyze manufacturing problems and implement solutions to improve production.
  • Recommend process changes to improve quality and efficiency, and strive for maximum efficiency in people and space utilization.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance departments to support production and maintenance activities.
  • Set up machines, check parts in production, work with outside vendors, and support sales and project managers.
  • Maintain professional standards of conduct when working with superiors, colleagues, and production personnel.
  • Support the maintenance of manufacturing equipment and ensure the quality of products meets company standards.
  • Develop business contacts with persons inside or outside the company, and maintain confidentiality of manufacturing know-how and patents.
Requirements
  • Education: A minimum of a four-year degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience: A minimum of two years of experience with robotic MIG welding in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge: Sound knowledge of engineering theory and manufacturing techniques, and familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Skills: Developing and maintaining accurate records and reports, effective use of time and materials, analyzing and independently solving process problems, and interpersonal communication skills.
