Job Title: Community Schools Coordinator

Family and Children's Service is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Schools Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in promoting family engagement, college and career readiness, health and wellness, and social services and adult development in our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage programs and resources for families and targeted students, ensuring alignment with our organization's mission and goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners, including regular meetings and communication.
  • Solicit donations and resources to meet the basic needs of students and families.
  • Provide or coordinate family training, such as training parents as advocates, to support learning at home and navigating the school system.
  • Work closely with school administration and the Community Achieves Office to ensure programs and services are integrated and aligned with the school's mission and goals.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Impact Team, school administration, and the Community Achieves Office.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of the Strategic Plan, incorporating results from the needs assessment and identifying gaps in assets and needs.
  • Participate in an annual community school standards-based school review.
  • Manage data entry using the CA Organizer, entering data about services provided and partnerships in the school on a monthly basis.

Requirements: A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field is required. Regular attendance during office hours and reliable transportation are also necessary.
