Job Summary

Adecco is seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to join their team in Syracuse, NY. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on clients' equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, monitor, repair, and maintain complex company equipment, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Maintain and calibrate various equipment, including CNCs, vacuum pumps, oil systems, and water heaters.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and prevent downtime.
  • Perform work with a sense of urgency to respond to machine downtime events.
  • Review manufacturers' service manuals, own establishment's usage schedules, and records of maintenance problems to develop and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for each machine.
  • Maintain all records relating to planned and completed maintenance.
  • Work with production managers to determine when planned maintenance will least interfere with production.
  • Clean machine, tooling, and parts, and perform machine maintenance as required.
  • Able to troubleshoot machine issues.
  • Assist in training and informing employees of the Preventive Maintenance Program.
  • Fabricate benches/equipment and assemble.
  • Monitor and record inventory used (tooling, supplies, and raw materials) and notify appropriate personnel.
  • Process cooling water filter changes.
  • Basic troubleshooting/diagnostics of HVAC and plumbing equipment (RTUs, water heaters, etc.).
  • Responsible for housekeeping and safety practices as it applies to this work environment.
  • Complete training programs both in-house and at external locations as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 3 years of machine maintenance experience required.
  • 5+ years of machine maintenance experience is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of equipment using Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and Mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA) for each type of machine.

Adecco offers a competitive salary range of $24.00-$30.00 per hour, as well as benefit offerings including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
