Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Inspect, monitor, repair, and maintain complex company equipment, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for each machine, reviewing manufacturers' service manuals and own establishment's usage schedules.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain all records relating to planned and completed maintenance, including inventory used and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Collaboration: Work with production managers to determine when planned maintenance will least interfere with production.
  • Housekeeping and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety regulations and protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 3 years of machine maintenance experience required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of machine maintenance experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills: Technical and mechanical abilities, communication proficiency, results-driven, ability to read and interpret documents, and basic math knowledge.
  • Certifications: Valid NYS driver's license and good driving record.
